Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our expanding Greater Manchester Reconnect service, in the new role of Senior Administrator.

Our Greater Manchester Reconnect Service is a care after custody service that seeks to improve the care of people leaving prison by offering our service and support pre-release, and peer led navigation and support in the community post release.

The Greater Manchester Reconnect Service is currently provided in HMP Forest Bank and Hindley, though is expanding to deliver the service in all Greater Manchester Prisons.

The Senior Administrator position will be based at Lance Burn Medical Centre, Salford, Manchester.

The working pattern is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Main duties of the job

  • Process all referrals into the service, ensuring that the clinical
  • information system is updated.
  • Typing of all clinical correspondence
  • Answer telephone calls
  • Open and action mail
  • Greet service users, carers and other visitors when required
  • Identification of those clients who are reaching the breaching target
  • Appointment booking for service users as required
  • Preparation and minuting of meetings when required.
