Job summary

The Specialist Perinatal Service is a passionate, dynamic and committed team. We are looking to recruit a Perinatal Team Manager, although it would be an advantage, you do not need previous experience of working in perinatal mental health, as training and development is something we pride ourselves on with plenty of opportunities for team members to build on their skills and knowledge.

The successful candidate will have a full and comprehensive induction, with support and time to settle into your new role.

Our team works with small caseloads of women who are pregnant and those in the post-natal period that have a mental health difficulty, we support them and their families at this important time their lives.

This is a rewarding and varied role working with our colleagues across the Perinatal Pathway.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to manage this amazing team of clinicians. The team work across GM to support the delivery of Perinatal care to women and people with mental illness in a variety of community settings, encouraging principles of the recovery approach.

The Cluster team Manager will provide line management and support to all staff, work collaboratively across organisations.

The manager will support integrated working across services who care for women in the Perinatal period. Directly participate and lead in the achievement of continuous service development and quality improvement agenda, as defined by the service and its stakeholders.

this role will require you to participate in the service bronze on call and Bronze on site rota.
