Job summary

Please note, this is NOT a clinical/nursing position.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Application Support & Systems Integration team within Birmingham andSolihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust in the role of ICT Applications Access and Audit Assistant.

The successful applicants will join the team responsible for system upgrades, software rollouts, floor walking and regularly performing extensive audits. Experience of using Microsoft packages to an advanced level is essential.

Main duties of the job

Demanding, exciting, and rewarding, you will be working with a friendly, sociable team of highly skilled individuals. We welcome applications fromnewly qualified ICT professionals and those that may currently work in a service desk or similar role, experience of working within an NHSenvironment is preferred.

  • Educated to NVQ level 3 or evidence of equivalent level of knowledge in subject area.

Desirable

  • Industry standard ICT qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in using person-based information systems.
  • Practical use of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Knowledge and practical use of /RiO or other NHS Mental Health Patient Administration Systems
