We have a large family of Psychological Professionals in the Trust who work across our diverse clinical services, and we host a number of training programmes including Low Intensity Psychological Interventions.

We are keen to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Psychologist to support our Trust Post-Incident Support for a fixed-term period (6 months).

Knowledge and understanding of this area is required and the successful individual will be part of a well-established team.

Main duties of the job

  • The post holder will work as an integrated member of the Post-incident support provision within Trust Corporate Psychology services, supporting and enhancing the professional psychological practice, under the supervision of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist for post-incident support.
  • The post holder will work independently according to a plan agreed with their supervisor within the overall framework of the Corporate Psychology services' policies and procedures, and assist in project related administration, service evaluation, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, teaching and project work
