Job summary
SOLAR (Solihull CAMHS) have an exciting opportunity for 3 band 6 CAMHS Practitioners who will be part of creating a screening and triage team with additional responsibility for reviewing the core wait list and taking duty calls. This is a brand new team and will work under B7 team lead within the wider SOLAR team. SOLAR consists of Core, Eating Disorder Service, Children in Care, LD and Crisis and Mpower team.
The post holder will need to have good clinical and risk assessment skills as well as being confident and compassionate when speaking to families and professionals over the phone.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for screening and triage of referrals into SOLAR.
To complete duty calls
To complete waiting well calls
To complete Initial Assessments dependent on service need
To work flexibly within the service as required
To provide professional advice and support to other agencies and members of the multidisciplinary team,
To provide compassionate care and improve the wellbeing of service users through the delivery of excellent clinical interventions that promote recovery and well-being
