Do you have a passion for using information to help service managers and clinicians deliver effective high-quality services that make a real difference to service users and carers?
Our Information Team works closely with operational services, delivering analytical support and continuously developing reporting systems and services to help meet this challenge. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic person to be part of a team working to gain detailed understanding of services' activities, issues and challenges and then providing high quality analytical support and insights. You will ensure that all regular reports and data sets are delivered on time and to specification, carry out individual pieces of analysis, participate in projects to extend reporting capability, automate productionof routine reports and data sets, and increase the availability and accessibility of information to clinicians and managers.
The successful candidate would be given the opportunity to complete a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship as part of the role.
Main duties of the job
Extract, manipulate and present information from information systems and the Trust data warehouseon both a routine and ad-hoc basis to meet regular and one-off information requirements
Maintain a good understanding of all major areas of analysis.
Produce routine and ad-hoc reports and analysis.
Identify weaknesses in information systems data and data flows and work with appropriate staff and agencies to ensure identified problems are resolved.
Design and use appropriate validation mechanisms and checking routines to ensure that all reports produced meet the user's requirements and are accurate, reliable and clearly presented.
Document procedures, and keep effective records of all key internal and external returns.
