Job summary
Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care under the guidance of the qualified nurse and to have a working knowledge of local, national policies and legislation which govern current service provision. To assist in the development and provision of social/therapeutic activities for service users and the promotion of effective therapeutic relationships, which meet and address the issues of spirituality, equality and diversity in accordance with good practice and legislation. The post holder will ensure effective communication pathways exist, which positively reflects the values of the organisation.
Main duties of the job
Endeavour Court is an exciting service to be part of. We work within a specialist multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing serious mental illness in an HDU rehab setting. Successful applicants must be able to work in a challenging and dynamic environment. You will need to demonstrate a range of skills, including effective communication, strong leadership skills, empathy, self-awareness, resilience and critical self-reflection skills.
You will need to be passionate about mental health and supporting patients. It is important for you to be committed to working within a multi-professional team as well as possessing excellent communication, risk assessment and care planning skills.
We are looking for ambitious staff with the desire for self-development. We offer regular management supervision and close working with the Ward Manager and other Deputy Ward Managers, as well as promoting continuous professional development.
