An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fix term full-time referral Team Administrator within in our Solar Team based at Bishop Wilson Clinic, Chelmsley Wood to work Monday -Friday 09:00 - 17:00
The SOLAR service is a Mental Health Service to support our Children and Young People within Solihull area and support them to transition on from the service if needed.
As a team administrator you will be required to support and monitor our referral/administration process, including clinic management. You will have to demonstrate a high standard of communication skills both verbal and written with a professional attitude, along with having good attention to details on data inputting.
It is essential that applicants can work on their own initiative, demonstrate effective organisational skills, along with able to priorities their own workload and can process enquiries in a confidential and efficient manner.
Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive range of administrative support to enable efficient referral co-ordination to the SOLAR service, along with various administration support for our Looked After Children's Team to ensure quality standards and targets are always met to deliver excellent patient care. To support with covering our reception, along with supporting and operating within the Team's systems and act as part of a wider administration team for the SOLAR service.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible to provide an efficient referral co-ordination and comprehensive range of administration support to the whole SOLAR service including our Looked After Childrens Team and other various teams. To maintain and operate the referral process for the service and ensure all timeframes/deadlines are always met. To monitor the Initial Assessment waiting list and activity, to raise any issues related to the referral process with the Referral Lead/Support Service Manager when needed. To provide and receive both confidential and sensitive information via written, electronic or telephone, ensuring all information is captured accurately in the patient care record system. To work and act on own initiative or seek advice from the management team when required due to dealing with potentially complex situations. To support with formatting of letters, booking appointments and co-ordinating/minuting meetings when required. To provide reception cover when needed, along with cross covering and offer support to other members of the admin team in the event of any absences.
Ad-hoc any other admin tasks as directed by the Support Service Manager
