Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered health professional to apply for a 12mth secondment for the role of Deputy Head of Healthcare based at HMP Birmingham. This role sits within our Offender Health Service which forms part of Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust. This involves delivering a model of integrated healthcare across partnership working with Birmingham Community Health Care (BCHC) and Cranstoun
Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) is one of the largest providers of secure care and offender health services in the country. Alongside of working for BSMHFT the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with neighbouring organisations referred to above in order to ensure a comprehensive package of care is delivered to our service users.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will embrace multi-disciplinary working and work as a key member of the MDT, you will also be required to represent the service at key forums and meetings.
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills will be required for this post and you will need to be able to work effectively both on your own initiative and as part of the team
