Are you a highly skilled and registered healthcare professional seeking to advance your career as a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Dementia and Frailty Care? Would you like to be part of a pioneering initiative reshaping Dementia and Frailty services across Birmingham?

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and inspirational clinician to join our Community Dementia and Frailty Services within the North and West Locality teams. This role is part of a newly funded project under theBirmingham Fairer Future Fund, aimed at tackling health inequalities through culturally sensitive and collaborative care pathways across memory assessment services.

Main duties of the job

Successful candidates will be supported to complete aMaster's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP), with guidance from the ACP Lead, Clinical Supervisor, and Clinical Services Manager.

  • Year 1-3:Band 7 (Trainee ACP)
  • Year 3:Band 8a (subject to achievement of competencies and progression toward full ACP accreditation)

As a Trainee ACP, you will work under supervision to develop advanced knowledge and skills aligned with theMulti-professional Framework for Advanced Clinical Practice in England. Over time, your autonomy will increase, progressing toward independent practice within the specialty.
