Job summary

The role of Project Manager will be pivotal in supporting senior leads across Birmingham and Solihull (BSOL) deliver a significant programme of change. The individual will work to engage with our key partners and stakeholders including service users in the delivery of strategic projects to ensure the ongoing implementation of the overall Community Mental Health Transformation Programme and key service improvement projects across Community services. The individual will work closely with the Programme Lead and within a small programme team to oversee the delivery of allocated projects.

Main duties of the job

he post holder will be expected to undertake on a number of key projects focusing on the deliverables of the overall programme, focussing on the strategic objectives of the Long Term Plan. The post holder will need to be able to work in a fast paced environment, working autonomously and managing projects through the full life cycle.

The post holder will be expected to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge and experience of working in a health care environment, have the ability to meet strict deadlines, ability to take responsibility and proven initiative skills. The post holder needs to be able to motive others to achieve positive outcomes, meet deadlines and objectives.
