We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic registered Psychological Therapist to be part of the continued development of our colleague post-incident response support, under the portfolio of the Chief Psychological Professions Officer for the Trust. Could this be you?
This is a new and exciting substantive position. It builds on the committed work that is already in place across Birmingham and Solihull focusing on our post-incident response support for colleagues in our Trust. You will be working alongside a Consultant Practitioner Psychologist and an Assistant Psychologist and will receive training in our agreed models of post-incident support, as necessary. Your clinical experience, expertise and compassion are key to the successful impact of this new substantive role.
This position will have an administrative base at Trust HQ and you will be working in an agile and flexible way with pre-planned attendance at our Trust sites.

As an experienced Psychological Therapist, you will be responsible for supporting the provision and evaluation of psychological post-incident response support, including reflective practice for colleagues who may have been exposed to potentially traumatic incidents. Working alongside a Consultant Practitioner Psychologist you will be involved in delivering post-incident support interventions including advice, supervision and training, in support of other colleagues delivering post-incident support across the Trust. Your role will also include monitoring of post-incident activity across the Trust services including delegated responsibility for any required audits and reports as necessary. Your communication and competent therapeutic skills are key.
