Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Co-Lead for Psychological Services at Yew Croft CMHT. Our Psychological Services team is a friendly, dynamic, & diverse team of Clinical/Counselling Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Clinical Associates in Psychology, Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners, Assistant Psychologists, and Trainees on placement.

As a highly experienced clinical/counselling psychologist (or equivalent) the post holder will along with the Co-Lead be responsible for the development, systematic provision of, evaluation & governance of psychological services at Yew Croft. They will provide clinical leadership in the service and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to achieve effective, evidence based psychological service provision to those accessing the CMHT. They will ensure that interventions are timely, evidence based, cost-effective, and culturally appropriate that meet the requirements of best clinical and professional practice, Trust and Service objectives, national strategies, policy guidelines, commissioner requirements and user/carer needs and expectations.

They will be responsible for leadership and oversight of NICE recommended psychological therapies/interventions to individuals within the CMHT service (individual or group interventions), providing supervision for psychological practitioners (and those in training) as well as MDT colleagues, consultation, service development, research and teaching/training as required.
