Job summary
Solar, rated 'Good' by the CQC and published in the Journal of Early Intervention in Psychiatry, is a partnership between Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, Barnardo's and Autism West Midlands and provides Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Services to Children, Young People and Families in Solihull.
Solar was set up as a service not about thresholds or tiers but about timely access to appropriate support in line with children and young people's needs. Solar aims to create a comprehensive system, designed around the needs of children and young people, which keeps children and young people healthy as well as treating those that are ill and prioritises resilience, partnership and co-production.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player to provide clear leadership and management of the Secondary Care (Core CAMHS) Team and to actively participate in the day to day running of the service. Solar's Core Team provides an excellent service to the young people, their families as well as multiple agencies within Solihull.
