We are seeking an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our multi-disciplinary Eating Disorder Team to deliver the best possible treatment to adults with an eating disorder. We would welcome applications from people with a passion for supporting clients with eating disorders in their journey to recovery. We are seeking an individual with the knowledge and skills to work as part of a multi-professional team and be innovative in their approach to supporting this client group.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in providing excellent care to people with eating disorders. Previous experience in eating disorders would be welcome but is not essential as specialist training and support will be provided.
Main duties of the job
Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care under the guidance of the qualified nurse, and to have a working knowledge of local, national policies and legislation which govern current service provision.
To assist in identifying their own training and development needs and in the promotion of effective therapeutic relationships, which meet and address the issues of spirituality, equality, diversity and rights in accordance with good practice and legislation.
The post holder will ensure effective communicationpathways exist, and that they act within their sphere of responsibility, and in a manner, which positively reflects the values of the organisation.
