We are looking for an administrator to join our team working within our Clinical Health Psychology and Clinical Neuro Psychology service. This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed and supportive team who provide psychological services into specialities across the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.
As one of the service administrators, you will work closely with the Service Manager, Clinical Lead Psychologist and the Psychological Professionals within the team, providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the service.
Main duties of the job
You will need to assist in providing a high quality administrative service to ensure the smooth running of the department. The post holder will act as the focal point of contact and be responsible for dissemination of information, messages and enquiries for the team, as well as the text processing of correspondence, dealing with telephone enquiries, booking appointments, handling petty cash, stock ordering, and other administrative duties as required.You will need OCR/RSA II Typing/Text Processing or equivalent and English 'O' Level/GCSE or equivalent. Previous experience of various computer packages, as well as minute taking are also a requirement.
