Job summary

Are you a senior contracts professional with the drive to develop new and emerging contractual relationships as part of a Provider Collaborative? If yes, then we would like to hear from you.

This is a new and innovative post in which you will lead new contractual relationships based on collaborative system working, moving away from established commissioner provider relationships.

Main duties of the job

As part of the Provider Collaborative, you will develop and manage contracts by working closely with finance manager, data analysts, case managers and quality management colleagues in building expertise and capacity to deliver high quality and outcomes-based services.

You will bring to the role, your senior level NHS experience of contract management, managing the full cycle including management of sub contracts, demonstrate experience in contract negotiation and have the ability to develop new ways of working. You will engage with wide range of partners to secure input to the development of the Provider Collaborative and you will be a confident and effective communicator at all levels.

  • Post graduate qualification to master level or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience of Contract Negotiation and management within the NHS and or commercial environment

  • Experience of working with and influencing clinical/operational teams

  • oPRINCE 2 or equivalent
  • oGood knowledge of commercial processes and mechanisms
