Job summary
The purpose of the Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner is to lead, direct and innovate the role of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner in Birmingham Healthy Minds. The post holder will be an experienced PWP equipped with expert clinical skills that can supervise and inspire the PWP workforce within the service.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work within the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service to provide leadership in Step 2 psychological interventions as part of the Stepped care Model. The Senior Pwp will be equipped to provide clinical supervision, case management and take the lead on a number of projects associated with the work of PWP's around group work, role development and other service initiatives. BHM aim is to deliver high quality, cost effective therapy which is in line with performance targets/standards set nationally for IAPT services. Therefore the post holder will be required to support the Service Manager and Clinical Lead to ensure delivery of Step 2 interventions are effective, efficient and dynamic to meet the needs of the service.
