Our Clinical Applications Project Management team are first class leaders of change bringing digital enhancements to the Trust so we want someone who is bold and enthusiastic and can organise to perfection. With great customer relations skills, being calm under pressure, supporting our Trust staff quickly and efficiently.

As a member of our close-knit team, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and on your own.

Main duties of the job

You will work within the Programme Management Office (PMO) within OneLSC/Enterprise-Wide Applications at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

You will have experience in supporting IT Clinical Applications projects and willing to work with specialities and leaders across the organisation, ensuring they have the right systems and support to do their job. Needing to respond to changing NHS England and Trust demands, you'll be able to work well under pressure and retain/relay information accurately. Don't worry, we know it sounds scary but there's a whole induction package behind it. The role isn't for the faint hearted, and it is essential you are a quick learner, able to prioritise and undertake numerous tasks simultaneously.

To provide advice and ongoing support for projects under the Digital & Health Informatics vision including post-delivery, such that systems remain effective, secure and available to Trust and the wider health community as needed, including performance reporting and troubleshooting.

Qualifications & Education

Essential

  • Educated to A level standard or equivalent with proven knowledge of working in a business change role
  • ECDL/MOST or equivalent qualification/experience

Desirable

  • PRINCE 2 foundation or equivalent

Knowledge & Experience

Essential

  • Significant work experience within the NHS
  • Knowledge of business processes supporting clinical service delivery
  • Substantial experience working with business change or project implementation
  • Experience in delivering technology solutions for critical business activities
  • Sound understanding and operational experience of Microsoft Office and Database theory

Desirable

  • In depth operational knowledge of QCPR (Trust EPR System)
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Experience of monitoring/auditing processes of work
