Job summary
The Trust offers two catheter labs; which on a daily basic perform Angiography, IVUS, Pressure wire studies, PCI (including rotablation, OCT and CTOs), Loop recorder, pacemaker, CRT-P, ICD and CRT-D implants. The non-invasive Cardiology Department undertakes ECG, Ambulatory monitoring, Echo, Physiologist led Exercise service, Device follow up (Brady pacemakers, loop recorders, CRT-P, ICD and CRT-D). Although this post is primary for Devices there may be scope to rotate through other areas within the department.
The Cardiology Department I very forward thinking with multi-skilled staff and a Physiologist led Loop Recorder implants and follow up service.
You will have ASCST, BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualifications, IBHRE/HRUK in Devices and RCCP Registration.
As an experienced physiologist with IBHRE/HRUK Accreditation you will work with the cardiac physiology manager to ensure the highest quality, patient centred service..
