The post holder will be responsible for strategic and operational leadership for One LSC ensuring system-wide benefits are achieved from the newly formed provider collaborative for corporate services.
Main duties of the job
- Embed a newly established collaboration model from set-up to delivery
- Promote continuous improvement and learning from the benefits of working collaboratively.
- As the most senior leader within One LSC, actively promote and embed the vision and culture for One LSC
- Contribute and influence system-wide thinking and strategic direction
- Accountable for the strategic direction and operational delivery for One LSC

OneLSC brings together the five NHS provider trusts in Lancashire and South Cumbria to improve health and healthcare.
This is about working together as equal partners to make sure patients, their families and communities benefit across the whole of the area.
The aim is to reduce health inequalities and improve services, outcomes and people's experiences of accessing healthcare. Our partnership also aims to ensure that Lancashire and South Cumbria is a great place to work.
We want to further improve quality by sharing skills and best practice, pooling our resources and standardising the way we work where possible to reduce unnecessary duplication. To achieve this we have created One LSC, which will oversee all in-scope corporate services for Lancashire and South Cumbria.

- Promote services provided by One LSC to share learning and opportunity
- Ensure One LSC is compliant with regulatory and financial responsibilities it has been awarded
- Create a culture of high quality, high standards and equal opportunity.
- Actively promoting equality, diversity and inclusion
- Ensure systems and processes are in place that will stand up to scrutiny and demonstrate best practice in relation to governance
- Responsible for ensuring clear delivery plans are in place, which are underpinned by robust risk management practices.
- Act as the role model for openness and good communication by regularly attending meetings across One LSC
- Act as the ambassador for One LSC both internally and externally
- Provide leadership to other Executives and Senior Management across One LSC to ensure vision, culture and best practice behaviours are embedded
- Ensure at all times financial control and efficient use of resources is maintained
- To ensure there is shared understanding of performance and the delivery of services at system level
- Nurture key relationships across systems and be responsible for the development and maintenance of new relationships.
- Operate effectively and flexibly in a changing and demanding environment, proactively engaging with stakeholders.
