We have expanded our services and opened a fast flow medical ward to work alongside our medical assessment units and emergency ambulatory care unit. The aim of B8 is to receive admissions for patients who have gone through our pathways and require up to 72 hours of Safe, Personal and Effective ongoing intense care and interventions.
We have vacancy for Band 4 - Nursing Associate who values team working, are enthusiastic and have the desire and drive to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time that are compassionate and caring. Successful candidates would be expected to be proactive to provide excellent patient experience, and quality of nursing care.

Main duties of the job
The role will involve taking charge of a bay of patients focusing on admissions right through to efficient discharges. You will work alongside Healthcare assistants, Registered nurses and a range of Multidisciplinary team members to assist the patient through their hospital journey.
As a team we promote a positive atmosphere, independence, encouraging the patients to ensure good recovery and reduced length of stay.
We work with a multi-disciplinary team, to ensure that patient care is the priority.
We are looking for candidates with good interpersonal, communication and organisational. In house training will be provided. It is essential that the successful applicant is committed to professional development and can work as part of a team and independently using their own initiative.
