Are you our next junior sister/charge nurse within the specialty of cardiology.
Ward B6 are looking to increase the current nursing leadership team. These are exiting teams in the specialty of cardiology with the development of the new heart care unit due to open shortly.
We are looking for an enthusiastic leader with a positive can do attitude who not only demonstrates line management responsibilities but someone who will act as a role model exhibiting excellent values and behaviors, inspiring others leading change and implementing best practice
Main duties of the job
As a junior sister/Charge nurse you will be expected to care for a a wide range of patients with cardiolgy conditions such as MIs, heart failure, arrythmias, valve disease, endocarditis,angiography, pacemakers/icds, toes, patients awaiting transfer to a tertiary centre awaiting cardiac surgery and repatriated patients post cardiac surgery.
Cardiology experience is preferred but not essential. There are also educational opportunities to further develop cardiology nursing practice and leadership skills
