Job summary
We are looking for a band 5 nurses to join the team on the Acute Medical Ward B6. You will work alongside the senior nursing team to develop a service, providing high quality care.
As a staff nurse you will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to ensure Safe, Personal and Effective care is delivered to all patients.
We have a Practice Education team who are keen to help staff develop in these roles.
You should be motivated, keen to learn and ready to embrace change and service improvement. Our commitment to you is to provide the environment for this to happen.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the assessment of nursing needs and the development of programmes of care and/or the implementation and evaluation of these programmes. Carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and demonstrate procedures to and supervise qualified and/or unqualified staff.
