Temporary Staffing is part of the Human Resources and Organisational Development Directorate who are responsible for sourcing, recruiting and deploying Bank workers, agency workers across a wide range of staff groups throughout the Trust including Nursing, Allied Health Professionals, non-clinical roles to work alongside our permanent workforce.
The Non - Medical Temporary Staffing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, the Temporary Staffing Workforce and the Temporary Staffing Team
Main duties of the job
Provide day-to-day management support to the administrative staff of the Temporary Staffing Service ensuring that all staff are inducted, trained and developed to provide an efficient and high-quality service to the Trust.
Developing and implementing flexible temporary staffing solutions
Negotiating rates and developing process management
Ensuring all staff are compliant with core mandatory training
Developing and delivering training on the systems across the business
Encourage and provide other training for Bank Staff making full use of resources available
Contribute to the delivery of specific objectives in the HR/OD Business Plan, in relation to Temporary staffing issues
Comply with all relevant mandatory training requirements and ensure that direct reports do the same
Actively participate in the performance development review process, identifying own development needs and seek out opportunities to enhance your personal performance.

Ensure the security and maintenance of the computerised Bank Staffing system reporting faults as appropriate (liaising with the supplier regarding upgrades to the system).
Provide professional and personal support and advice, as required, to all staff registered with the Trust Bank Register.
Carry out annual performance reviews of direct reports.
Participate in external networks to support the on-going development of temporary staffing service within the Trust.
Always promote a positive image of the Bank both internally and externally
In conjunction with Line Managers, ensure that disciplinary/capability/sickness/absence issues of temporary staff are undertaken in line with the Trusts procedure for bank staff
Work within the guidelines of relevant legislation, policies and procedures
Empowered to make decisions in as far as they impact direct reports and in collaboration with the Non Medical Temporary Staffing Business Partner.
Undertake Personal Development Reviews and 121s, identify training needs and support
