Job summary
We are seeking an experienced estates professional to join our team as Director of PFI Service Delivery.
This is an exciting and pivotal role and is central to ensuring our hospitals and community sites remain safe, compliant, and resilient, while supporting the Trust's mission of Outstanding Care, Healthy Communities, and being a Great Place to Work.

As Director of PFI Service Delivery, you will provide visible, strategic leadership across a wide and complex portfolio. You will deputise for the Chief Estates and Facilities Officer and work closely with colleagues across Capital, Estates, Clinical Engineering, and Sustainability to deliver high-performing, patient-centred environments.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for leading and ensuring the intelligent client function ensures PFI services are delivered to meet the Trust's strategic and operational needs across two PFI contracts.
The Director of PFI Service Delivery will support the Chief Estates and Facilities Officer in all aspects of Facilities Management and will be responsible for the delivery of the highest quality management of the core team, formulating longer term strategies and new efficient ways of working that deliver high customer and staff satisfaction levels, and services that are seen as value for money.
The key areas of focus are to strengthen the Trust's capacity and capability in relation to contract management and operational delivery from our PFI contracts, working closely and collaboratively with other corporate functions (including Procurement, ICT, Commercial and Finance) and providing an excellent, responsive service to the department Heads and clinical services. The post holder is required to forge and maintain excellent working relationships to support a collaborative and partnership style of working, within the Trust and our PFIs.
The post holder will be required to provide specialist and professional advice to the Trust senior leadership team to include assurance in relation to statutory compliance and risk associated with the PFI estate, infrastructure and facilities support services.
