Job summary

Are you an experienced NMC Registered Nurse who is passionate about all things Children's Continence?

If so, please consider applying for the role and share your passion, experience and knowledge of supporting children and young people with toileting needs, as well as inspiring excellence in others. We'd love you to bring in some fresh perspectives to support with our Children's Healthy Bladder and Bowels Project. You will additionally benefit from working alongside many other CYP Community Healthcare Services and we pride ourselves on our positive and productive relationships.

The post is for 37.5 hours a week, all year round, and will based in the of community sites in Stoke Mandeville, High Wycombe or Amersham. The post holder will deliver clinical care, supervision and training across the county so they will be required to have a flexible approach to travel. We additionally have bases in Buckingham, Thame, Chalfont's and Gerrards Cross Hospitals so would expect you to travel between sites.

Main duties of the job

The Specialist Nurse for Children's Healthy Bladder and Bowels will work as a key member of the 0-19 Public Health Nursing (PHN) Team and wider Organisational Department. The post holder will be an experienced and strong advocate for children, young people and families and will take the lead for the Specialist Children Bladder and Bowel Project providing clinical care and leadership.

The post holder will develop a collaborative strategic approach with other BHT departments and multi-agency stakeholders to review the impact of the Children's Healthy Bladder and Bowel Service, on clinical outcomes and improved cost efficiency.
