With ground breaking new medicines on the horizon, we are looking for an ambitious and motivated Lead Respiratory Pharmacist to drive innovation and deliver exceptional care acrossBuckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT) and the Integrated Care Board (ICB).

Main duties of the job
- Lead the way in respiratory pharmacy - Oversee medicines management, ensuring the safe and effective use of new and existing respiratory treatments.
- Drive innovation - Take a proactive role in evaluating and embedding new medicines and advanced therapies into clinical practice.

Support and develop the team - Provide expert leadership, training, and mentorship to ensure the development of trainee pharmacist and junior rotational pharmacists.

Enhance patient outcomes - improving care for patients with conditions such as asthma and COPD, implementing new medicines.

Ensure financial sustainability - Offer strategic financial insights to optimise medicines use and support cost-effective prescribing.
