Job summary

The post holder carries out assigned tasks, including care of patients .i.e. activity of daily living and support patients with their rehabilitation exercises in support of, and supervised by a Registered Nurse

Main duties of the job

The role is crucial in providing patient care and supporting the healthcare team on BNRU ward. It involves

* Assisting with daily living activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, eating)* Monitoring and recording vital signs* Helping with mobility and exercises* Providing emotional support to patients* Assisting with medical procedures under supervision

  • NVQ Level 1 or 2

Skills abilities and knowledge

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with multiple disciplinary team, patients and carers in English

  • Ability to write clearly and eligibly in English
  • Able to perform simple mathematical calculations
