- Be a pharmacy technician eager for an opportunity to contribute to medicines optimisation, whilst expanding your skill set beyond traditional training.
- Have experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting, enhancing efficiencies in data management, record keeping or maintaining and improving digital platforms.

The MRC Pharmacy team looks forward to welcoming someone would like to be part of a supportive, cohesive team in this exciting and important role.
As part of the MRC team, you will provide data and analytic support for the MRC and wider pharmacy team, support the maintenance and development of the Buckinghamshire medicines formulary and the provision of the Medicines Information service. You will work as part of the wider Pharmacy team to support and develop pharmacy provision, maximising efficiency in providing excellent patient care.
Main duties of the job
-
- To develop, maintain and monitor the Bucks Formulary on the NetFormulary platform
- To liaise with stakeholders across the ICS to ensure the timely implementation of formulary changes
- To develop and maintain databases / spreadsheets of key information that supports effective formulary delivery
- To support formulary processes:
- Prepare regular newsletter/communication of formulary changes
- Assist in the preparation of agenda, paper distribution, minutes and record of decisions made at the Medicines Value Group meeting
- Attend meetings and take formal minutes where necessary
- Additional tasks as required for Bucks place with regard to the ICS Area Prescribing Committee
- To provide support and undertake administrative tasks relating to implementation of NICE guidance and Technology Appraisals
- To update and maintain the National Immunoglobulin database
- To work closely with the Pharmacy Business support team
