We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and ambitious reporting radiographer to join us and become part of our engaging and forward thinking Radiology Team.

This is a rotational post, in addition to reporting there will be rotation through General x-ray, A&E, CT, MRI and intervention, dependent on applicants experience.
Stoke Mandeville is a world renowned Spinal Injuries Rehabilitation Centre and Radiology is pivotal in providing imaging services for spinal injury patients.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking an experienced reporting radiographers to join our Plain Film reporting service.
We are in the process of expanding and developing the reporting radiographer role within the Trust to include trauma, non-trauma and chest reporting.
Applications from radiographers who are already working towards a post graduate qualification may be considered.
This post will be based at Stoke Mandeville but the successful applicant may work cross-site as required.
The successful candidate will be expected to partake in the out of hour's service.
Radiology at SMH provides Plain Film including ED and Theatre, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiography. A plain film service is also provided at 2 community sites, Amersham and Buckingham.
The successful applicant will be expected to be an exemplar for the plain film reporting service , taking part in training, audit and continued quality improvement.
The Department prides itself on an active audit/teaching and quality improvement programme. The department also provides clinical placements for under graduate students and an Apprenticeship Programme.
