Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust has an exciting opportunity to join the community facilities team. We are looking for an enthusiastic Housekeeper who is able to work as part of a team as well all independently. To contribute and support the delivery of a robust housekeeping/facilities service. The post available is working 12.5 hours per week cleaning at Brookside Clinic in Aylesbury - Mon - Thurs 5.00pm - 7.30pm & Fri 5.00pm - 7.00pm

Main duties of the job

Candidates must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner, demonstrate a caring, compassionate approach and be able to adapt to changes effectively.

You will play an important role in ensuring that our patients receive the best experience in a safe, high, quality, caring environment. A desire and commitment to provide a high level of customer care, putting our patients first is an essential requirement.

Assessments and interviews will take place at Brookside Clinic Aylesbury. All candidates will be asked to complete a literacy and numeracy test followed by an interview.

Essential

  • Basic secondary school education.
  • Basic computer Skills or willing to learn

EXPERIENCE

Desirable

  • Previous housekeeper experience
  • Experience of working within NHS
  • Experience of working in a team and also on own initiative

SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE

  • Ability to be part of a flexible duty roster, including weekend work in rotation.
  • Ability to cope with physical aspects of the post including safe lifting and handling techniques
