We embrace putting the needs of users first, and this role will enjoy getting out and about in the hospital understanding the impact high performing technology has on the hospital, and also understanding the role we have to play in the wider Integrated Care System.

Main duties of the job
This role will
- be the senior advisor for all elements of technology to BHT and other partners as required.
- develop and implement the BHT ICT strategy, taking the lead for the technology pillar and providing professional advice and technical support to other 2 pillars - digital and information.
- ensure development of up-to-date policies/ work plans reflect the needs of a modern technology provision shaped around user and business needs.
- lead the provision of robust ICT (infrastructure, networks, devices, cyber security, licensing, O365, technology programmes computing, data centres, communications and radio solutions) services, ensuring the solutions are proposed and implemented are in line with national and local ICT policies and support new models of working introduced by the Trust.
- provide expert advice and guidance on the interpretation, design and implementation of local and national ICT initiatives.
- ensure all services under direct control have continuous improvement ICT support and associated developments foster a culture of integrated and complementary programmes of work to ensure clinical, financial and operational benefits are maximised.
