Job summary

An opportunity has arisen to join the Gynaecology Outpatient Department at Stoke Mandeville Hospital as an Early Pregnancy Unit (EPU) Administrator.The post will suit a well organised, hard-working, efficient and enthusiastic person, who will be responsible for the running of the appointment booking system, all reception duties and liaising with clinical staff at all levels. There will be other administrative duties related to the service.

Main duties of the job

Arrange all Early Pregnancy clinic and ultrasound appointments using the Careflow and Soliton systems. Ensure that local waiting list times are met and inform the line manager if these times cannot be achieved.

Administrative support to the EPU Team. This involves populating spreadsheets and accessing patient records in a timely manner for EPU and, ensuring service users are appropriately entered onto the relevant systems to enable their appointment to run smoothly.

Work closely with the nursing staff to ensure the smooth running of EPU at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, checking in all patients at the busy reception desk.
