Job summary

This unique role offers the chance to be part of a growing team within our outpatient Pharmacies at Amersham, Stoke-Mandeville and High-Wycombe enabling you to develop your career in a fast-paced environment, whilst providing a customer focused and critical service to patients. You will be supported with the right training to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge required for working in a hospital setting.

Pharmacy@bucks is an exciting new innovative outpatient dispensing services, focusing on providing efficient and effective pharmacy services to our patients and visitors at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT). This pharmacy is run by Buckinghamshire Health Projects Ltd (BHPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. This pharmacy provides dispensing services for the out-patients prescriptions issued by BHT and provide OTC medicines and advice to BHT staff and visitors.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible and reliable for supporting the efficient delivery of the outpatient dispensing service, working as a key member of the pharmacy team to achieve excellence and provide exceptional customer care and patient safety.

Qualifications

GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent evidence in English, Science and Maths

About us

One full time post (Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30 pm), One part-time post (20 hours a week, includes a Saturday shift 9am to 2pm) at Stoke-Mandeville Hospital and One full time post- (37.5 hours per week) cross-sites at High-Wycombe Hospital and Amersham Hospital (Opening time: 9am to 5.30 pm). We will consider students, part-time working and Trainees. Post holder will be required to work cross sites to provide holiday and sickness cover and, 1 in 4 Weekends (Saturday & Sunday 9am to 2pm) at Stoke-Mandeville Hospital.

Highly competitive salaries -£ 17,550 to £ 21,255 per annum pro rata
