Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic receptionist to join our friendly and busy team of health professionals delivering echocardiography services for patients attending Wycombe Hospital

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors to the department and will be expected to provide comprehensive administrative/clerical and reception services. We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and to prioritise/organise their own workload.

The right candidate will be sympathetic and sensitive to the requirements of staff, patients and other service users, whether communicating by telephone or face-to-face, including dealing with difficult or demanding situations.

In return, we offer structured training in a supportive environment.

Main duties of the job

The receptionist is the first point of contact for the department and we are looking for a kind, friendly individual who is sensitive to the needs of both patients and staff.

We are looking for good communication skills , coupled with enthusiasm and a desire to provide excellent care for our patients. The ability to work as part of a team is an important consideration.
