Job summary
The Trust currently have the following vacancies within the Children and Young Peoples Department
We are looking for a Booking Coordinator/Support Officer full time (37.5 hrs) to cover Health Review (ASQ) booking.
We provide a range of services to children and young people throughout Buckinghamshire, such as health visiting, school nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and family nurse partnership.

Main duties of the job
- To answer internal and external telephone calls and either re-direct calls as required or take and record accurate messages with sufficient additional detail as to name, title, organisation, telephone number of caller, date and time of call.
- Log referrals onto the Trust appointment system as per the clinical advice from the triaging process.
- To maintain databases using the appropriate computer systems, ensuring they are up to date at all times.
- Arrange outpatient appointments, using RiO, confirming, cancelling and changing appointments where necessary.
- To maintain all team files and filing system. To make up new files as required in line with existing filing systems.
- Ensure patients are communicated with effectively in relation to their appointments via phone or letter.
- Process requests for clinic changes, cancellations and creations as directed by and subject to the authorisation of the Assistant Service Manager.
- Deal with concerns and complaints appropriately, escalating to your Line Manager where required.
