Job summary

Provide a professional and customer focused HR service that supports the delivery of the key workforce objectives for the Thames Valley Radiology Network (TV Rad).

Provide highly specialist advice on workforces issues and change management initiatives, working autonomously as a HR Practitioner.

Responsible for the organisational development programmes for the TV Rad network to enable the delivery of the imaging network strategy and vision.

Support the Programme Lead and Workforce Development group in drafting, development and implementation of the TV Rad Workforce Development Strategy and Sustainment.

Main duties of the job

  • As part of the Thames Valley Radiology imaging network management team, lead the local implementation of the human resources aspects of the network programme plan, assisting managers in developing and implementing their service strategy, offering specialist advice and support to identify the workforce implications that flow from the strategy and develop initiatives to implement changes that improve performance.
  • To proactively develop and implement an HR service across the network which supports the work of the network through establishing, maintaining and improving people management practices and skills in conjunction with the network partners HR departments and business partners supporting respective radiology and diagnostic services.
  • Delivery of the strategic and operational workforce development objectives for the TV Rad Network working with managers to identify changes in workforce that will achieve the objectives of the network to enable greater insourcing or radiology.
  • Provide expert change management advise ensuring effective consultation processes are followed in line with employment law and best practice.
  • To be familiar with the Trust's computerized HR information system and input, retrieve and report information as requested.
