Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic individual to join the Therapy Rehabilitation Service (TRS) as a Band 4 Physiotherapy Clinical Support Worker. This is a part time post of 22.5 hours over three days. The TRS provides outpatient Physiotherapy Rehabilitation for the older person and provides specialist input for patients with Parkinson's Disease as well as patients with complex falls, the service is based at Amersham Hospital. The post holder will carry out rehab programmes, run group exercise classes and specific assessments with patients, under the direction of the Therapists.

To be an integral member of the TRS team, delivering therapeutic treatments to patients in liaison with senior Physiotherapy staff.
To take responsibility for designated elements of the patient treatment.
The successful post-holder must be an excellent communicator and motivator, experience of working within a Therapy setting is desirable.
Proven organisational skills is crucial. An ability to work in close cooperation, liaison and with the broader healthcare workforce is essential in a fast-paced setting. They will have proven ability as a team player.
An ability to take responsibility, be flexible and have a sensitive and empathetic approach is needed. Participation in manual handling tasks is crucial and the post-holder must be able to undertake the physical and manual handling requirements of the post.
Opportunities for training and development are available through training and appraisal.
The post requires rota'd weekend working as part of your working normal hours
