Clinical Nurse Specialist - Deteriorating Patient

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Sepsis and Deteriorating patient team at ESNEFT. This trust wide role will include raising awareness of Sepsis, AKI and the deteriorating patient and supporting early recognition, assessment and interventions through clinical audit, clinical education and direct support to clinical areas.
In addition, the post holder will be expected to deliver education both in the clinical environment and within a classroom setting, working with other clinical educators including critical care outreach team.
Please note you will need access to a vehicle as the role involves traveling to all ESNEFT Sites as and when required.

Main duties of the job
Other aspects of the role include clinical audit and education which focuses on supporting and sharing skills with staff caring for deteriorating patients from primary to secondary care environments.
In collaboration with other members of the team, support multi-disciplinary staff to improve their sepsis knowledge and skills, promote team working to improve patient care and reduce clinical risk and support the development of seamless care.
You will be expected to act as an excellent role model and clinical expert in this field and you will need to be dynamic, responsive to the needs of the role, have proven leadership experience and excellent communication skills.
You will need to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
