An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Specialist Paediatric Physiologist ( Sleep) at Ipswich Hospital.
We are looking for an advanced Paediatric Physiologist with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who has an experience of a wide range of respiratory physiology procedures.
You will have highly specialist expertise, underpinned by theory and experience.
You will undertake complex diagnostic analysis and interpretation (Sleep), provide verbal and written interpretation to referring medical terms on simple, specialist, complex assessments.

Main duties of the job
- Review all referrals that come into the sleep service and assess suitability for the requested investigations and/ or treatments;
- To deliver andmaintaina sleep physiology testing service that provides multi-channel sleep studies (Polygraphy) and overnight pulse oximetry recordings;
- Tomaintainthe sleep service database ensuring all patient data is recorded and updates onto the patients' medical records;
- To effectively assess the care needs of patients and their families within the sleep service;
- To deliver andmaintainCPAP and Non-Invasive ventilation service that supports patients with telephone/remote/face-to-face follow up;
- To provide support for consultant-led clinics where respiratory function measurement and/or where ventilator devices may berequired;
- To provide support to the sleep staffin the event ofcovering sickness and annual leave;
- To work as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team;
