Job summary
An exceptional opportunity is available for an experienced Radiographer to Lead and manage the Urology Lithotripsy department at East Suffolk and North East Essex Foundation Trust (ESNEFT).
The post holder will be primarily responsible for performing Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) procedures to treat kidney stones, utilising either x-ray or ultrasound guidance. In addition to clinical duties, the role includes managing the 6-day lithotripsy service, creating optimal efficiency and quality for individual patients and service users.
As the Lead for the service, you will show outstanding leadership qualities as well as significant clinical expertise in the field of Lithotripsy. You would be responsible to line manage the Lithotripsy Practitioner Radiographer and provide clinical guidance to colleagues, whilst coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and the Urology department to efficiently manage individual patient pathways, always striving to improve the service.
