Job summary

We are seeking a dynamic Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to play a crucial role in shaping and delivering high-impact workforce initiatives. As a strategic leader within the Divisional Management Team, you will drive workforce transformation, ensuring alignment with our Trust's strategic objectives and People Strategy to enhance patient care, productivity, and performance.

You will be responsible for the inspiration, motivation, and performance management of teams within the remit of the role. You will lead on all aspects of the people agenda, acting as a trusted partner to Divisional leaders and other senior stakeholders you will support forward planning, transformation, engagement and workforce performance, ensure good HR practice is embedded across the division.

Providing expert HR leadership, you will be partnering and coaching senior leaders to effectively transform services and enable the delivery of high quality care across all sites in the organisation and will therefore be expected to be on site a minimum of 3 days per week.

To succeed in this role you will have extensive HR leadership experience, ideally within the NHS or a similarly complex organisation, a strong track record of driving workforce transformation and HR initiatives.

Main duties of the job

You will lead the strategic HR/OD provision for the Division, influencing workforce priorities across the Trust and ensuring alignment with regional and national NHS priorities. The Senior HRBP will proactively shape and implement trust-wide workforce transformation initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation, engagement, and inclusion.

Negotiate and influence outcomes for sensitive, complex workforce matters with senior leaders including Divisional Management Team members. Coach and mentor such staff to deliver difficult messages to other staff.

Present complex workforce issues to trust and external audiences, including Employment Tribunals, professional bodies, and trust-wide governance committees, demonstrating expert understanding and rationale for decisions.

The Senior HRBP supports the Senior HR Leadership Team to achieve the trust's strategic workforce objectives.
