Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen here in the Audiology Team at Ipswich Hospital for someone to join our Service as a part time AdministrativeAssistant.

You will be a self-driven individual with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. You will work alongside the Audiologists and Hearing Therapists to provide the best care possible.

We would ideally require you to work Monday and Tuesdays weekly.

Main duties of the job

o Agreeing and making outpatient follow up appointments- by contacting patients, either by telephone, letter or personally following GP orstaff referral and generate letter on Lorenzoo Rearrange clinics and inform patients of changes of appointments.o Manage patient administration and booking of all outreach clinics.o Deal with telephone and face-to-face complaints effectively and refer to appropriate individual if necessary.o Deal with hearing aid repair and battery requests face to faceo Make accurate data entries into Patient Management Systems including registering of patientso To manage incoming and outgoing mailo Photocopying and scanning of the departmento Managing the department email accounts.o To maintain confidentiality at all times
