Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of CDG Support Officer within Integrated Pathways at Ipswich Hospital. This role will be based at Ipswich Hospital with some cross cover at our other sites. This role will work closely with the operations team, therapists, nurses and support staff.
The role is pivotal supporting across the department, you will be used to managing competing priorities on a daily basis. We are looking for individuals with a positive approach to change who are supportive of service improvements. You will be expected to use your own initiative and able to work unsupervised, undertaking specific project work as necessary. You will be expected to plan and manage a range of complex duties, organise own work and that of others to meet deadlines and respond professionally to enquires both internally and externally to the organisation.
This post would suit someone with focused attention to detail, distinct organisation skills and the ability be agile with their workload and manage change.
You will be well supported in their journey from induction, to encouraging personal development.
Main duties of the job
To undertake a full range of administrative duties for the department as appropriate, including:
- Management and validation of quality and operational data working closely with the relevant staff.
- Attend huddle board meetings and support staff to work through improvements.
- Monitor and prioritise own workload and activity to ensure deadlines and targets are met.
- Incorporate new practices to take account of new technology, demand/capacity tools.
- Arrange, attend, and take minutes of department meetings.
- Maintain action logs.
- Point of contact for any administration issues within the CDG.
- Support the Operational team with any tasks required including clinic activity, new starter checklists and open referrals.
- Point of contact within the CDG for inter-departmental queries e.g. IT requests, stationery & uniform ordering via Integra.
- Ensure that all mandatory training / appraisals are up to date.
