Job summary

ESNEFT are seeking a phenomenal leader with extensive experience to come and work with us as the Head of Estates and Capital for Colchester and Essex

Working for the AD Capital and Estates, the role holder is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the trust's owned estate at Colchester General Hospital and in Essex.

You will be responsible for ensuring the provision of a safe, functional, sustainable, and value for money estate providing a great 'workplace experience' for staff, visitors and patients.

Main duties of the job

  • Support the development of the longer-term Master Control Plan and Development Control Plan for each site within the CGH and Essex portfolio
  • Procure all external parties required to deliver the schemes in accordance with SFIs and procurement rules
  • Line manage teams of building, electrical, mechanical teams and where appropriate sterilisation and steam teams.
  • Ensure that all mandatory and statutory planned and preventative maintenance is carried out in accordance with all specific regulations and trust policies
