Job summary

Do you have an interest in cardiology nursing? Are you looking for a new challenge to expand your knowledge and skills in a new specialty or expand your existing knowledge?

We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, and well-motivated Registered Nurse to join our amazing team on Claydon Ward.

Claydon is a 14 bedded Cardiology Ward with an additional 10 bedded Cardiac Monitoring Unit. The ward works closely with Ipswich Heart Centre who carry out onsite procedures including Cardiac Catheterisation, pacemaker insertions and DC Cardioversion.

You'll be working with a friendly, motivated, supportive team to provide excellent patient care.

Two posts available:

1 x 30 hrs per week - Fixed term until August 2024

1 x 37.5 hrs per week - permanent

Main duties of the job

To work within the framework for Clinical Governance to provide effective, high quality individualised nursing care to patients and relatives/carers and to contribute to the continuing development of nursing practice.

To work within the Trust's Competency Framework for Registered Nurses, the Ward/ Department Philosophy and the NMC Code of Conduct/ Professional Standards for the Protection of Patients.
