Job summary

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) are proud to be supporting the setup of the Eastern Diagnostic Imaging Network (EDIN) and are looking for a Network Business Support Manager to join us.

EDIN is a collaboration between Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, ESNEFT, West Suffolk Foundation Trust, James Paget University Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Cambridge University Hospital, Royal Papworth Hospital and North West Anglia Foundation Trust.

These organisations are working together to enable effective collaboration between Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and deliver a joint approach to support the implementation of the identified imaging network priorities. They are breaking down barriers to deliver service improvements, reducing variation and sharing best practice. They are providing governance at a network level to oversee the design and delivery of the plans, undertaking a stock take of the assets across the system and mapping how services are currently delivered. This role will work with the Professional Leads and Speciality Leads.

This post is 22.5 hours per week to be worked across the working week Monday - Friday, some hours could be worked from home.

This post is initially fixed term until 31st March 2024 however has the potential to be extended or become substantive. Internal applicants currently employed by ESNEFT will be offered on a secondment basis only, to be discussed with your line manager.

Main duties of the job

In this role you will work alongside the Professional and Speciality Clinical Leads to help deliver the network's objectives and will need excellent communication and analytical skills. You will provide strategic advice and guidance on a range of operational and clinical issues, supporting the leads within the network with planning, change management, training and academies. You will manage the clinical transformation delivery to agreed quality standards to support the Network's development to mature status. As a business support manager you will lead on the development, implementation, establishment and review of performance management systems in collaboration across the Network.
