Job summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed midwives to join our community teams.

The role in community is currently a traditional model of care for the antenatal and postnatal period and includes providing care and support for the home birth service.

You must have a passion for providing continuity of care for women and their families and be willing to work as part of a continuity of care model, as this is developed within ESNEFT.

Main duties of the job

You will be expected to work independently and as part of a community team within the Colchester area.

The teams work geographically and each Midwife will have their own caseload.

You will also take part in the on call rota to the cover the home birth service.

The Trust are committed to working towards the introduction of the Continuity of Care model and will be working towards the gradual implementation of this.
