Main duties of the job

  • Justify and perform radiographic examinations, provide direct care and a high quality diagnostic imaging service in order to assist in the management of patients referred from clinicians.
  • Adhere to Ionising Radiation Regulations and IR(ME)R to ensure the correct procedure is justified and performed.
  • Participate in own, department and care group research & development.
  • Undertake continuing professional development (CPD).
  • Participate in the out-of-hours on call for general work and departmental shift duties as required.
  • Supervise students during training.
